Projects in 2015
One key features of the “give” portion of the 2015 campaign, was to mobilize our efforts collectively as a community. By combining our resource dollars (individual, family, civic, faith, government, business, etc.) we were able to address larger community needs that would be impossible to do alone or by one entity. Two goals were met:
UNITING WITH ROTARY AND KIWANIS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR SPLASH PAD (Sand Point Park, Titusville - projected build date Fall 2016) $211,799.00+
UNITED WITH SALVATION ARMY TO RAISE FUNDS TO BUILD EMERGENCY FAMILY SHELTER (Titusville - projected build date Spring 2016) $42,060.00
We will do our best to keep an updated list of projects, events, and activities that are happening in the community thorughout the 40 Days of Generosity, so that you can stay in touch and get involved whenever and wherever you desire. We also invite you to follow our facebook page and join the community conversation. There you can see what others are doing and also find out first hand from your fellow citizens what activities are being organized. www.facebook.com/lovingnorthbrevard.
As we mentioned on the SERVE page, our focus in 2016 is YOUTH and EDUCATION. Therefore, we have created a tab below just for opportunities in that category. Look around and find what works for you, and GET INVOLVED!
